Principal II Software Architect – Java Microservices & AI/MCP – India

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal II Software Architect with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices,
Cloud Platforms, and AI technologies. The role requires strong architecture ownership, technical leadership, and hands-on engineering experience in enterprise-scale distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable and fault-tolerant microservices platforms

• Lead solution design, architecture reviews, and technical governance

• Mentor engineering teams and drive best practices

• Build cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Ensure scalability, security, compliance, and performance standards

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and global teams

• Work on AI-enabled systems and MCP server integrations

Required Skills

• Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices

• REST APIs, Distributed Systems, Kafka

• Cloud Platforms – GCP/AWS/Azure

• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps

• RDBMS & NoSQL databases

• AI Technologies, LLMs, MCP Servers

• Python and scripting knowledge preferred

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of Java development experience

• 5+ years as Technical Architect / Solution Architect

• Experience building highly scalable enterprise systems

Preferred Experience

• Banking / Payments / FinTech domain exposure

• Cloud migration and distributed architecture experience

• AI/ML and enterprise integration exposure
