We are looking for a dynamic ServiceNow “Technical Project Manager” who can lead a Greenfield ServiceNow implementation program. Responsibilities include defining project scope, managing budgets and resources, communicating with stakeholders, overseeing project phases, ensuring adherence to methodologies like Agile and ITIL, and managing risks and issues, guiding the team on techno-functional aspect of ServiceNow implementation. Key qualifications include a strong track record in ServiceNow project delivery, experience with ITSM and cloud platforms, and certifications such as PMP or CSM.

Certification preferred : PMP/CSM, ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow – CIS – ITSM, ITOM/ITAM

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership:
Guide projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technical requirements, and best practices.

• Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Stakeholder Management:
Serve as a trusted advisor and central point of communication for stakeholders, providing regular status updates and facilitating collaboration. Be a point of contact for escalation (both project and technical)

• Technical Oversight:
Provide technical understanding and support to solution architects and technical consultants to drive project success.

• Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues to prevent project delays or failures.

• Change Management:
Submit change requests (CRs) and system maintenance logs (SMLs) as part of a defined change management process.

• Documentation:
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and closure activities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• ServiceNow Expertise:
Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform and its modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.). Already would have delivered at least 2 large scale ServiceNow implementation project and should have hands on experience on the key aspects of ServiceNow platform and configuration. Should have solid knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations and implementation best practices.

• Technical Acumen:
Solid understanding of cloud architecture, configuration, and integration, often with a background in software development or IT.

• Leadership & Communication:
Exceptional skills in inspiring teams, motivating collaboration, and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Problem-Solving:
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to adapt to shifting priorities and resolve conflicts effectively.
Path to Becoming a ServiceNow Technical Project Manager

• Education & Certification:
Obtain a relevant degree and pursue ServiceNow certifications, such as those offered by ServiceNow University. Refer the certification mentioned above.

• Experience:
Gain practical experience by working on ServiceNow projects and programs, developing a strong track record of successful deliveries.

• Skill Development:
Focus on building leadership, communication, technical understanding, and proficiency with project management tools and cloud platforms.
